INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Click on the link above to download the Appointments Book™ Setup.exe file.
2. Save the download to your PC's Hard Drive.
3. When the dowload has completed double click the Appointments Book™ Setup.exe file and the setup will begin automatically.
4. When the installation has completed to Start Appointments Book™ you simply click on the Desktop Shortcut Icon or click Start > Programs > Appointments Book > Appointments Book
N.B. Please close all programs that are running on your PC before installing. During installation if you are prompted a component is already in use, please choose to Ignore the exception.
During installation if windows prompts you that a file being copied over is older than the one you have on your system, do you wish to keep the file you have on your system? Please choose to keep the file that is already on your system.
YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN TO YOUR PC AS THE ADMINISTRATOR BEFORE YOU CAN INSTALL APPOINTMENTS BOOK™.
HOW TO NETWORK APPOINTMENTS BOOK
1. To Network the Appointments Book™ program download a copy of the latest full version of Appointments Book to one PC and then distribute the setup file to each pc via your network. Please note you will need to install a copy of Appointments Book to each PC.
2. To install the Appointments Book™ program go to each PC and double click the Appointments Book™ Setup.exe file.
3. When you have installed Appointments Book on each PC and its running, follow these steps:

a. Choose which PC's database you would like to Network i.e. share
b. Go to that PC and go to the folder where you installed Appointments Book. Usually c:\program files\appointments book and make sure the Folder is being shared by right clicking on it and selecting Security and Permissions or Sharing from the menu item.
c. Now go to each PC and click File from the Appointments Book program tool bar
d. Click Network
e. Click Locate Shared Database File
f. Navigate to the PC and the location of the shared db.resources file
g. Click Ok
