Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows ME users follow these steps to ping the IP ADDRESS's of all the PC's running in your network.
1. Click the Start menu button on the Windows task bar.
2. Click Run... on this menu.
3. In the text box that appears, type ping (IP ADDRESS).
TIPS: We suggest you start from the Server PC and ping all the Client PC's first, then go to each of the Client PC's and ping the Server PC. If any of the ping's fail we suggest you click Here for a guide to networking.
Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT users follow these steps to ping the IP ADDRESS's of all the PC's running in your network.
1. Click the Start menu button on the Windows task bar.
2. Click Run... on this menu.
3. Type cmd in the text box that appears. A command prompt window launches on the desktop.
4. In this command window, type ping (IP ADDRESS)

When you have successfully ping'ed all the Client PC's in your network from the Server PC and you have successfully ping'ed the Server PC from all the Client PC's in your network you are ready to proceed to the next step, the installation of Appointments Book®.
