HOW IT WORKS

1. Connect your Barcode Scanner to your PC

2. Connect your Receipt Printer to your PC and install the printer driver

3. Connect the Cash Drawer to your Printer

a. click on G/S > Edit and click on the Bar Code Number field then scan your item and the number will appear, make sure you click save.



b. click on Customers > Edit and click on the Membership ID field then scan your item and the number will appear, make sure you click save.



c. click on Resources > Edit and click on the ID field then scan your item and the number will appear, make sure you click save.



When you are on the Appointment making window and you scan the bar code of either the G/S, Resource or Customer it will appear in the appropriate list.

If you scan a bar code for a G/S, Resource or Customer when you are on the main appointment grid it will open the G/S, Resource or Customer window.

To configure your Receipt Printer and Cash Drawer click Maintenance > Settings > Receipt Printer select your Receipt Printer and click Set as Receipt Printer



You can edit the Header of the invoice by editing the letterhead, click Maintenance > Letterhead

When you make an appointment and you click Invoice Appointments Book will print off a Receipt and open your cash drawer.

Q. Can I use my POS equipment with Appointments Book® Pro?

A. Yes. Appointments Book® Pro supports most POS equipment. Connect your Cash Drawer, Receipt Printer and Bar Code Scanner.

Q. Can we use two different types of Receipt Printers?

A. No. Two different Receipt Printer models wont work off the one network.
